In the outbreak trend survey of infectious diseases, the number of reported cases of influenza per fixed point in Chiba Prefecture during the 49th week of 2023 (from December 4 to December 10) was 32.89, exceeding the alert threshold （ 30 ） set by the government. The prefecture issued an "influenza alert" on December 13. In addition, the number of patients reported per fixed point in Narashino Health Center （ Yachiyo City ・ Narashino City ・ and Kamagaya City ） has increased to 42.7. Continue to take precautions against influenza.

[Requests for medical examination]
・ If you have symptoms such as fever and wish to visit a medical institution, please be sure to call in advance and confirm （ the method ） and hours of examination.

[Prevention of influenza]
・ Wash your hands frequently.
・ Use humidifiers and other devices to prevent dryness indoors, and ventilate frequently.
・ If you cough or sneeze, wear a mask to avoid infecting others. If you do not have one, hold your mouth and nose with a tissue or the inside of your arm, turn your face away from others and stand at least 1 meter away.
・ Get vaccinated. Immunization has the effect of suppressing the onset of illness to some extent and preventing serious illness.
