[Caution] Beware of phone deception calls.

This is a notice from the Yachiyo Police Department.
Today in Yachiyo City, there have been numerous calls from persons pretending to be police officers, NTT, etc., saying "Your name has surfaced in a joint investigation with Nagano Prefectural Police, so please bring your ID card" or "The phone will be stopped in two hours from now," etc., as signs of a scam.
If you receive a suspicious call, hang up the phone immediately and call 110.
To avoid becoming a victim of phone deception,
〇 Set your phone to go to voicemail and do not answer calls even when you are at home
〇 Do not give your bankbook, cash card or cash to strangers
〇 Do not give your account or PIN number to anyone
〇 Do not operate ATM while talking to someone on the phone

If you do not use international calls, block international incoming calls .
