At 8:30 a.m. on August 16, 2023, we will add an appointment slot (WEB ・ Phone) for additional vaccination (3 ～ 5th dose) with the new corona vaccine for children (5 ～ 11 years old). Please note that vaccination is not compulsory. Vaccinations will be given only with the consent of the parent or guardian and the child.

○Appointment Eligibility
① Those who have already been vaccinated for the first time and more than 3 months have passed since the last vaccination5 ～ Those who are 11 years old and have underlying medical conditions ・ Others who are deemed by the doctor to be at high risk of serious illness. *If you have received one dose of bivalent vaccine for children (Omicron strain) by May 7, 2022 as a "vaccination starting in the fall of 2022," you are still eligible for vaccination.
② Those who have already received the first vaccination and more than 3 months have passed since the most recent vaccination5 ～ Those who are 11 years old and have not been vaccinated with pediatric bivalent vaccine (Omicron strain).

Appointments where the date of the 5th vaccination is between August 21 (Mon) and 31 (Thu)3 ～

◆The date of the next additional appointment slot has not yet been determined. As soon as it is decided, it will be announced on the city website, Yachiyo Information Mail, the city's official LINE, etc. For children's vaccination, monovalent vaccine corresponding to Omicron strain XBB.1.5 is expected to be available after September 20. Details will be announced as soon as they are determined.
