March is Chiba Prefecture Blood Donation Promotion Month. In addition to a decrease in the number of blood donors in March due to illness caused by hay fever, etc., it is also a busy season for business establishments, making it difficult to obtain cooperation for group blood donations.
On the other hand, most blood products for transfusion made from blood donations are used to treat diseases such as "cancer" and are used for approximately 3,000 patients per day throughout Japan, regardless of the season.
Blood products for transfusion have an expiration date, so we need your continuous cooperation to ensure a stable supply of blood to patients.
We ask for your cooperation in blood donation to save precious lives.
